Support Chat: Scheduled Maintenance (2022-04-09)

The platform used for our live chat (Intercom) is planning to carry out scheduled maintenance on their systems between 08:00 and 09:00 UTC on 9th April, 2022 which will result in some downtime or intermittent issues with live chat availability.

During this 1 hour window, we will be unable to provide live chat support.

If you require emergency support, please e-mail us at help@pressable.com and we will endeavour to assist as soon as possible.

Once this maintenance has concluded, we will again be available via live chat to provide our usual support for any questions or issues you may have.

WordPress 5.9

All sites on the Pressable platform have been automatically updated to WordPress 5.9. This release includes several improvements, such as:

  • Full site editing
  • Twenty Twenty-Two theme
  • Navigation blocks
  • Improved block functions and features

Service issue – my.pressable.com dashboard

Update: 16:06 UTC0 the issue we were experiencing with the my.pressable.com dashboard is now resolved.

We are currently experiencing an issue with the my.pressable.com management dashboard.

Our team is actively working on the problem and we will provide an update shortly.

In the meantime, the operation of any websites hosted with Pressable is not impacted.

WordPress 5.9 Beta is now available

The beta version of the next WordPress update is now available on Pressable sites.

Pressable allows you to test your site on the current Beta release of WordPress. This allows you to check your third-party themes, plugins, and custom code in advance, to make sure they are all compatible with the upcoming stable release of WordPress.

According to the WordPress.org roadmap, WordPress 5.9 is scheduled to be released on January 25th, 2022.

WordPress 5.8.2 Beta is now available

The beta version of the next WordPress update is now available on Pressable sites.

5.8.2 is scheduled to be released on November 10, 2021.

PHP 7.3 to 7.4 Upgrade Complete


All sites on the Pressable platform that were still running PHP 7.3 have now automatically been upgraded to 7.4. If you previously upgraded your site(s) to 7.4 or 8.0, this upgrade will not apply to you.

This upgrade was carried out due to PHP 7.3’s end of life being scheduled for 6th December 2021.
