WordPress 5.8

All sites on the Pressable platform have been automatically updated to WordPress 5.8

This major release includes bug fixes and many new feature updates, Block-Based Widget Editor, Block-Based Template Editor, and a new WordPress Patterns Directory.

WordPress 5.8 Beta is now available

The beta version of the next WordPress update is now available on Pressable sites.

Pressable allows you to test your site on the current Beta release of WordPress. This allows you to check your third-party themes, plugins, and custom code in advance, to make sure they are all compatible with the upcoming stable release of WordPress.

WordPress 5.4 “Adderley” Released

WordPress 5.4 has been released earlier today and all sites hosted on Pressable has been automatically updated.

Here’s what is in this update:

  • Two new blocks. And better blocks overall.
  • Cleaner UI, clearer navigation—and easier tabbing!
  • Your fundamental right: privacy

  • Add custom fields to menu items—natively
  • Blocks! Simpler styling, new APIs and embeds

WordPress 3.7.1 Updates Rolling Out

We’ve been closely monitoring the WordPress 3.7 release and the subsequent 3.7.1 release over the past couple of weeks. We’re happy to report that at this time we’re going to begin rolling out this new update to all sites.

WordPress 3.6.1 Released and Updates Starting

WordPress 3.6.1 has been released and we’re already working on getting this latest release out to users. As WordPress 3.6.1 addresses security issues in all prior versions of WordPress, this upgrade is required as part of our security policies for all users.
