Aug 26, 2026 10:28:00 AM EDT: As part of routine platform upgrade, some websites encountered an error, reverting them to a read-only state.

Affected sites continued to serve traffic, however they were unable to make changes to their filesystem, including File Uploads, Plugin/theme updates or installs, as well as other data changes to their filesystem.

The issue has been resolved and normal read/write access has resumed for all impacted sites. We are continuing to monitor the sites that were impacted and will be reviewing how the incident was able to occur.

RESOLVED @ 1:25PM CDT:  All sites are now loading as expected.

We are actively investigating an issue that is causing slow load times on some customers’ sites. We will update this post with more information as soon as it becomes available.
