PHP 8.1 Removal Timeline – December 9, 2025

Important Dates for PHP 8.1 removal (announced June 25th):

  • June 25th, 2025 – Pressable announces PHP 8.1 removal set for December 9th, 2025 (matching PHP.net’s lifecycle timeline).
  • June 25th, 2025 – My.Pressable.com shows a banner alert for all sites using PHP 8.1 notifying users of the removal on December 9th, 2025 and linking to this post.
  • July 15th, 2025 – PHP 8.1 removed as a selection option for all new sites. Sites using PHP 8.1 that are cloned will have access to PHP 8.1.
  • December 9th, 2025 – All sites remaining on PHP 8.1 are updated to PHP 8.2.

MyPressable Control Panel Outage (Resolved)

20:05 UTC: The My.Pressable.com Control Panel is operational again. An unexpected increase in processing background job queues led to a backlog that impacted system performance. The underlying issue has been identified and resolved, and services are now functioning normally.

19:45 UTC: The My.Pressable.com Control Panel should be working. Our Engineers are still working on this to ensure things are resolved. Actual Pressable websites are not impacted.

19:15 UTC: The My.Pressable.com Control Panel is currently offline. Actual Pressable websites are not impacted. Our Engineers are looking into the issue and we’ll post updates shortly

Intercom Support Outage – Chat Not Available (Resolved)

15:35 UTC – Intercom functionality has been restored to normal (incident notes here), and we should now receive chats without issues.

15:00 UTC – The Intercom support platform that we use is experiencing outages affecting our chat functionality. Their team is working on resolving the issue, but there may be some delays in our responses.
